Parish Council Meeting - January 2026

BROADWAY PARISH COUNCIL

Councillors are summoned, and members of the public invited, to attend the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at 7.30pm, Tuesday 6th January 2026 at Broadway Village Hall.

The meeting will commence following a public forum and verbal report from the SC Unitary Councillor if present.

2.             Declarations of interest / dispensation requests

3.             Parish Council Vacancy: To consider any applications

4.             Approval of minutes: To confirm minutes as a true record of the previous meeting.

a.      Applications to consider

i.      25/02868/HOU: Cranford Broadway Road Broadway TA19 9RB 9QY  Two storey side extension and porch. Removal of conservatory. Addition of rooflights to existing roof

b.      Updates and enforcement issues and to consider any actions required

6.             Finance & audit

a.      Financial statement to 31/12/25

b.      To approve payments requiring authorisation

c.       To agree the budget for 2026/27

d.      To agree the precept for 2026/27

7.             To consider adoption of a new Publication Scheme

8.             To discuss ownership and ongoing maintenance of new community car park at Glebe Land

9.             To receive updates and agree actions on the following areas:

a.      Village maintenance

b.      Highways

c.       Flooding

d.      Rights of Way

e.      Play Park

f.        Speed Indicator Device

g.      Volunteering and Community Group Updates

h.      Local Community and Parish Network

Exempt Business:  The Parish Council may resolve to move matters into a confidential session if it considers that open discussion would be inappropriate due to the confidential and/or sensitive nature of those matters under discussion.  Press and the public would be excluded in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 and will be instructed to withdraw.
