Parish Council Meeting - June 2026

BROADWAY PARISH COUNCIL

Councillors are summoned, and members of the public invited, to attend the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at 7.30pm, Tuesday 9^th June 2026 at Broadway Village Hall

The meeting will commence after a public forum.

AGENDA

1. Attendance and Apologies

2. Declarations of Interest / Dispensation Requests 

3. Approval of Minutes: To confirm minutes as a true record of the previous meeting.

4. Planning Matters

a. New applications to consider

i. 25/02815/FUL: Land Adjacent Orchard Cottage Hare Lane Buckland St Mary TA20 3JS - Change of use of agricultural barn to residential dwelling. 

b. Updates and enforcement issues and to consider any actions required

5. Finance & Audit

a. To note the Internal Auditors report and consider any required actions

b. To approve the Annual Governance Statement 

c. To approve the Annual Accounting Statements

d. To agree the period for the exercise of elector’s rights

e. Financial statement up to 31/05/26

f. To approve payments requiring authorisation

6. To receive an update following the Annual Parish Meeting

7. To consider an application from Neroche PFA for a grant towards outdoor seating and shelters

8. To receive an update on the play equipment inspection report and required remedial works

9. To receive updates and agree any actions on the following areas:

a. Highways

b. Flooding

c. Rights of Way

d. Play Park

e. Defibrillator

f. Speed Indicator Device

g. Volunteering and Community Group Updates

h. Local Community Network

Exempt Business: The Parish Council proposes that in view of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted (legal, personal or commercial), the press and public be excluded in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, and they are instructed to withdraw.
