BROADWAY PARISH COUNCIL

 

Councillors are summoned, and members of the public invited, to attend the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at 7.30pm, at Broadway Village Hall.


The meeting will commence following a public forum.

1.             Attendance and apologies

2.             Declarations of interest / dispensation requests

3.             Parish Council Vacancy: To consider applications received

4.             Approval of minutes: To confirm minutes as a true record of the previous meeting

5.             Planning matters

a.      Applications to consider:

i.    26/00172/HOU: Overstream Paulls Lane Broadway TA19 9QY - Erection of a detached double garage/store and a detached pool house subordinate and ancillary to the main dwelling

b.      Updates and enforcement issues and to consider any actions required

6.             Finance & audit

a.      Financial statement to 31/1/26

b.      To approve payments requiring authorisation

7.             To consider appointment of an internal auditor

8.             To consider ongoing requirements for hedge, tree and vegetation maintenance

9.             To receive updates and agree actions on the following areas:

a.      Village maintenance

b.      Highways

c.       Flooding

d.      Rights of Way

e.      Play Park

f.        Speed Indicator Device

g.      Defibrillator

h.      Volunteering and Community Group Updates

i.        Local Community and Parish Network

10.         Correspondence/matters for report only

11.         Items for the next meeting

12.         Date of the next meeting: Tuesday 7th April 2026, 7.30pm at the Village Hall

Exempt Business:  The Parish Council proposes that in view of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted (legal, personal or commercial), the press and public be excluded in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, and they are instructed to withdraw.  In addition to items listed, the Parish Council may resolve to move other matters into a confidential session if appropriate.
